Portion of Line 1 subway service down Wednesday morning, TTC says
Subway service is shut down for a portion of Line 1 this morning due to track work, the TTC says.
Service is down between Lawrence West and St. George stations as of 7:15 a.m., the transit agency said in a post to X.
Shuttle buses are running between the two stations.
There are also delays between St. George and Finch, and customers may experience "longer than normal wait times" of up to 15 minutes, the transit agency said.
The transit agency says there's currently no estimated time for when service will be restored.
The service disruptions are due to overnight track work and "late clearing work" Wednesday morning, the transit agency said.
